Redefining how we understand intimacy, attachment and human connection.
Dr. Mari holds a PhD in Depth Psychology and is a Certified Sex Therapist with specialized training in sexuality, relationships, attachment, trauma, gender, and couples work.
Drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Family Constellations, she integrates evidence-informed and relational approaches to help individuals, couples, and families navigate intimacy, connection, healing, and growth. Her work includes sex therapy, couples counseling, family repair, relationship support, education, and professional consultation.

While Dr. Mari is a Certified Sex Therapist, she is not a licensed psychologist, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, or medical provider. She does not diagnose mental health or medical conditions, prescribe medication, or provide crisis intervention. When appropriate, she works collaboratively with licensed mental health professionals, physicians, pelvic health specialists, sexological bodyworkers, surrogate partners, and other members of a client's care team to provide integrated, client-centered support.

Dr. Mari believes that healing begins with how we relate—to ourselves, to one another, and to the world around us. While much of her work focuses on sexuality and intimate relationships, her vision of intimacy extends far beyond romantic partnerships. It is about cultivating ways of being that honor dignity, mutuality, curiosity, and care across every aspect of our lives.

Through her work as a sex and relationship therapist, educator, and speaker, Dr. Mari invites people to move beyond shame, disconnection, and isolation toward relationships rooted in authenticity, compassion, and liberation. Drawing from depth psychology, attachment science, and liberatory approaches to sexuality education, she translates complex psychological ideas into conversations that transform how we live, love, and belong.

For Dr. Mari, intimacy is not simply the goal of a healthy relationship—it is a practice of relating that has the power to shape families, communities, and the future we create together. She believes that learning to be in right relationship with ourselves, each other, and our planet is essential to building a more peaceful, just, and life-affirming world.
